The Imperial Sovereign Court of the Raintree Empire gifts $3375.00 to AME!

Sunday, May 15, 2011 the Imperial Sovereign Court of the Raintree Empire of Vancouver, Washington presented the Audria M. Edwards Scholarship Fund with a gift of $3,375.00.  This gift was made on behalf of the members of the Vancouver Court following a year-long effort to raise money for their designated charities.  The money was literally raised one dollar at a time at a variety of Court functions including shows, dinners, auctions and raffles. 

In addition to the gift to the Audria M. Edwards Scholarship Fund, Martha’s Pantry, southwest Washington’s only non-government agency serving those living with HIV and AIDS received $10,000.00 and the Pride of the Rose Scholarship Fund received $1375.00.  In all $15,000.00 was gifted at the Prince and Princess Ball/Investitures on Sunday night.

Over the past 16 years, the ISCRE has gifted $44,208.33 to the AME Fund.  Subsequently, the AME Fund has awarded 17 scholarships to 10 individuals living in southwest Washington. 

We are very proud of our relationship with the Imperial Sovereign Court of the Raintree Empire and are so grateful for their continued support!  Special thanks go out to Rain Emperor XXXVI Clyde S. Dale, Tree Empress XXXVI Ivory Coxx and their Prince and Princess Bobby and Dustina.

Newly crowned Tree Empress XXXVII Chilli B. Licious named the Audria M. Edwards Scholarship Fund as one of the designated charities for the coming year.  Thank you Chilli!
