Adrienne Alexander joins Peacock Productions, Inc. BOD

Jan 10, 2011

Adrienne AlexanderPeacock Productions, Inc. is pleased to announce that Adrienne Alexander (Jason Mattern) has accepted a position on its Board of Directors.  Adrienne will fill a position vacated in December by the reigning Empress of the Raintree Empire Ivory Cox (Justin Taylor).

Adrienne Alexander has been involved with Peacock Productions, Inc. since the inaugural performance of Peacock After Dark in 2008 where she thrilled audiences with her comedic portrayal of Sally O'Malley a 50-year old Radio City Rockettes wannabe; complete with frizzy hair and lots of red spandex.

Little Orphan AnnieIn 2009, Adrienne stole the show with her 90-second walk-on performance of a 40-year-old Little Orphan Annie sporting the age-old red dress, Mary Jane shoes, red afro, a cigarette and 1/2 gallon of wine!  In 2010, Adrienne gave us "the drama of it all" as the Red Queen from Alice and Wonderland fame and then went on to "Express Herself" as Madonna complete with blonde ponytail and cone tits for the Divas through the Decades finale.

Adrienne was also featured as one of the models in the advertising campaign for the Peacock After Dark fundraiser in 2010.  Adrienne's image was used along with hostesses Maria and Poison Waters, the legendary Roxy LeRoy, Ryan Gregory, Lily Denmark and members of the Nonsense Dance Company.  These images were chosen specifically to demonstrate the demographic variety of the participants of Peacock After Dark.

Adrienne The Queen! In addition to lending her considerable talents as a performer and model to Peacock After Dark, Adrienne has also dedicated the proceeds from a number of her own City of Roses pageants and preliminaries to the Audria M. Edwards Scholarship Fund.  Her efforts have raised hundreds of dollars to help us continue our vision of providing post-secondary educational opportunities to the GLBT community through scholarship grants.

Since moving to Portland from Arizona, Adrienne has been crowned Miss Gay Oregon XXXVIII, Empress 33.5 of Salem's ISCWE and she is the reigning LaFemme Magnifique Plus International.  She is also a costume maker & designer, a regular cast member of the Darcelle XV Showplace and a pageant promoter.

By day, Adrienne's alter-ego Jason is a professional for an international banking institution.

We are thrilled to welcome Adrienne Alexander to the Peacock family and anxious to utilize her skills to help propel Peacock Productions, Inc. into the new year.
