Sweethearts of Portland Raise $355.00 for the A.M.E. Fund

 Mr. Sweetheart XXI Ryan Day and Miss Sweetheart XXI Avon LayDee J. Hart raised $355.00 at their show "She's Got the Look" at the Embers Avenue on Saturday, March 28, 2009.  The show was MC'd by our very own board of director's President, Rose Empress XXXVI Maria and featured entertainers from Portland, Salem and Vancouver.

All performers were asked to have a look to match their song for a $40.00 cash prize.  Bolivia Carmichael won the prize with her Lucille Ball impersonation of the classic "Vitameatavegamin" routine.  A long time supporter of Peacock Productions, Inc., Bolivia immediately and very generously donated her winnings to the Audria M. Edwards Scholarship Fund.   Thank you Bolivia!
